Addictive Grissini Bread Stick Recipe

Easy Grissini bread stick recipe

Grissini are long, thin, artisanal bread sticks. They make the best of the complexity of flavors which have developed in the dough, but since they are baked until quite crispy, the lack of chewiness isn’t important.

They’re incredibly easy to make: simply roll ‘em and cut ‘em and bake them on your Baking Steel; within minutes, you’ll have an addictive snack. If you happen to find yourself with a leftover portion of dough that is advancing in age, give it new life with this recipe.

Note: Dough that has progressed to 5-15 days “old” is ideal for making grissini; anything earlier should be used for pizza.
